Hi, I’m Vidhi, a private tutor with over 10 years of experience supporting students from Grade 2 through to VCE in Mathematics, English, and reasoning-based subjects. 

Before tutoring became my primary focus, I completed a degree in Accounting and Information Technology. While that might seem like a different path, it has actually shaped the way I teach in a very practical way. 

Accounting trained me to think logically, break down complex problems, and work with precision. IT strengthened my ability to explain systems clearly, step-by-step, and adapt explanations depending on how someone learns best. These are the same skills I now use every day when helping students understand difficult concepts in maths, writing, grammar, and reasoning. 

Over the past decade, I’ve worked with a wide range of students, from primary school learners building foundational skills, to VCE students preparing for exams, and students preparing for scholarship and selective entry tests. Across all levels, my focus is the same: building confidence, improving understanding, and helping students become independent learners. 

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. Every student learns differently, so I take a personalised approach that starts with identifying gaps in understanding and then building a clear, structured plan to address them. Lessons are paced to suit the student, with an emphasis on clarity, repetition where needed, and consistent progress over time. 

I also understand what it’s like to study demanding subjects and work towards high expectations. My goal is not just to help students improve their marks, but to help them develop the skills and confidence to approach challenges calmly and logically.
